Clearly there was no better place to wear my new spring kimono than in Kyoto. Not only am I in love with this kimono, but this look is an Erika Jayne knock off look for only…..$90! Erika Jayne is on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills – yup, its my trash t.v. addiction. But seriously she is the BEST! Her zero tolerance for B.S. is real and I can’t get enough.
And don’t be judgy – everyone needs a good show they can throw on when they are exhausted and don’t want to think about anything. Cue the RHOBH. Perfect. Erika wore a similar Kimono with a similar tank dress underneath in the Hong Kong episode. I found this ensemble at Zara for under $100! I don’t know what Erika paid for hers but I guarantee it cost more than mine! This spring kimono is so versatile so I can’t wait to pair it with other items.
I paired up with Kenta Yanaga (instagram: @yanagraphy) and we photographed this outfit in the Ginza district of Kyoto! A vibrant city center with lots of alley ways and lanterns – full of life and color! There are lots of shops and restaurants throughout the district and it’s definitely worth the visit.

Awwww, I spent a week in Kyoto but it was January and so cold that I could only wear a big puffy coat and a beanie, not a cute little jacket like this! :'(

it was still chilly in the end when the rain came haha
