Going To The Sun Road
Imagine a road full of lush evergreens, glacier covered mountains, wildlife at every turn, and fields of wildflowers. Alpine lakes, waterfalls, and trickling streams that follow the winding mountain pass. Glacier National Park’s Going To The Sun Road exceeds any expectations you’ll have from the moment you enter the park. It takes two hours to drive this 52 mile dramatic road, that’s without stops, and there are so many stops. You’ll also drive through Logan’s Pass which is the highest point in the park at 6,400 ft. Logan Pass is also a prime spot to view bighorn sheep and mountain goats! But honestly, the entire road is teeming with wildlife. We saw a black bear cross through traffic without a care in the world, and causing a ridiculous bear jam. We fell in love with this beautiful park and can’t wait to go back!

Lovely photography and travels. I’ve been once but, not exploring drove through nearby. I’d love to go back with my teen. It’s crazy how on the higher elevations there still can be snow in early summer. Thanks for sharing at the #InspirationSpotlight Party @DearCreatives Pinned & shared.

Exquisite mountain scenery. It reminds me a little of The Rockies in Canada. I would love to see more of your country as I have only travelled mainly to the West Coast. Your photos are so clear and crisp.
