There is nothing easier to style than a monochromatic look. Just pick a color, and grab every piece of clothing in said color and boom! You have a classic, sophisticated look. It’s pretty hard to screw up. And I hope monochromatic looks never go out of style because they tend to be my most go to closet pick! Besides, a monochromatic look can really make your accessories POP! Make that new purse, shoes, or piece of jewelry really stand out!
For those that follow on instagram, you know that last week I basically crashed my external hard drive and lost over 5,000 photos. Every single photo I have taken with my Canon 6D and my Canon Mark IV, gone. Minus my Alberta and Quebec pictures, thankfully I still had these on photo cards that I had to yet to reformat.
I ran all over town trying to find someone who could help, it went in three different hands, and ultimately the conclusion was to send it to California. Dun Dun Dun…… California is like the rehabilitation of graveyard hard drives….also $$$$. So tomorrow my little hard drive is being shipped to CA, where they will inspect it and give me a price to retrieve my photos. I hope its at the low end of the spectrum, because if not I can kiss those photos goodbye forever.
Because I didn’t have a back up to this hard drive (stupid I know) I have been wallowing in depression and kind of just stuck in an uncreative position. Has anyone else lost a hard drive, or photos? Or had an entire computer crash and lost everything?

I’ve recently embraced the monochrome look too and I have to say that I do love the occasional all black outfit or all neutral toned outfit! You look fabulous! I love how the bag and shoes are the pop of different colour!

Love the monochromatic look! I am with you, this is my fave one too! I am so sorry about your hard drive and all the pics… I really hope they will be able to retrieve them. If it helps, my hard drive crashed last year and… a repair place was able to retrieve everything (I live in California…?). Keep your fingers crossed!!!

Awww I’m so sorry to hear about your hard drive! These types of things are so frustrating and kinda just make the world stop right? I went to Peru 2 weeks ago and while I was there my computer suffered liquid damage. Came back to the US and they told me it would cost $$$$$$$ to fix. Lucky for me, my hard drive wasn’t damaged and I was able to find a friend of a friend who had an old computer laying around which my hard drive works with perfectly! So moral of the story, I’m sure everything will work out so don’t stress:) PS your booties are bomb.com!
