Boston Fall Foliage:
Fall exploded in Boston recently, lining the city’s streets with a spectrum of Autumnal colors starkly contrasting Boston’s beautiful old brick brownstones.
People cheerfully walking the streets with their dogs and a cup of coffee from their favorite coffee shop {Tatte Bakery most likely}.
Matt and I had decided to go into the city and walk around before dinner, and we couldn’t have timed it better. A storm had just come through and whenever it rains the colors are so much brighter and everything just glowing. The storm also came through heavy wind gusts, covering with spectacular fall foliage – another sign of winter coming.
We walked through Back Bay and Beacon Hill, which never lets us down for aesthetics and inspiration. All of the stoops showcase colored pumpkins and beautiful fall displays.
I swear a 75% of the porches in Beacon Hill could go in a Better Homes and Garden or a Martha Stewart magazine. While it may be fall, most of these homes are decked out with seasonal decor throughout the year and they always make it such a pleasure to spend the day in the City, making me proud to call Boston home.
These pictures show just how Boston fall foliage is making Boston one of autumns best destinations.
I hope you love the photos as much as I do let me know which porch is your favorite!
