Coat: Canada Goose | Denim: Hudson Jeans | Boots: Hunter | Bag: Tory Burch | Sweater: Nordstrom | Beanie: Free People |
While preparing for our trip to Quebec City I researched the best winter coats. People all over New England were wearing Canada Goose, a well built, yet still exceedingly stylish coat.
Each coat was expensive, yet the reviews were good and people seemed to like them. So I bit the bullet and made the investment by buying one. I chose the Loretta Style, and instantly loved it! We experienced wind chills up to -10 and my core was completely warm. Even while dog sledding I was wonderfully cozy in my Canada Goose.
I would never buy this coat if I weren’t living in New England, or somewhere like Chicago. But we have no intention of leaving New England anytime soon, so for me, personally, it was a great decision!
We loved experiencing Quebec City, a little French winter wonderland abuzz with a happy Canadian vibe! I always enjoy visiting this beautiful country because the people are so incredibly warm and friendly!
We checked off a bucket list item by dog sledding, enjoyed dancing at the famed Winter Carnival, experienced thrills at an extravagant tubing park, and ate our way through some of Old Quebec’s best restaurants.
What is your favorite cold weather accessory?
Xo, Shannon

You look so darling, I love how you mixed neutrals and pastels with that fun sweater and your awesome coat! My favorite winter wear is typically wool jackets and hats because they can stay streamlined while still providing a lot of warmth. I am petite and coats tend to make me look bulky, the only ones I have that don’t are my wool jackets 🙂

Love your coat and everything about this look! My favorite winter coats would have to be wool jackets. I am petite and wool coats are the only ones that can still make me look streamlined (not like a chubby little potato LOL) and keep me warm 🙂

That sounds like fun! Canada Goose jackets are the best, and you put it together in a really cute outfit. I especially like the polka dot sweater! We’re experiencing our Canadian winter on the west coast and while I’m reading your post I’m wearing almost the same toque as you!
