Upon recently moving to New England I quickly became infatuated with the entire area. The people, the iconic lighthouses, the rocky shorelines, to the food, I just can’t get enough. Follow along I explore my most beloved travel destination to date to bring you the New England Experience!
Sunny Coastlines began in 2015 when I had some unexpected down time on my hands. I had undergone two surgeries with lengthy recovery times. During those times I would scroll through blogs, Instagram, and Pinterest pursuing beautiful images. A creative outlet for my photos and stories naturally appealed to me, as I get a lot of questions about my travels and style.
Admittedly, I am no fashion stylist. I just like what I like, and my outfit generally depends on my mood, season, and whatever the day may bring. Sometimes it’s a converse and tee shirt kind of day, and some evenings it’s an over the top decadent dress with a gorgeous pair of heels.
As much as I love beautiful clothes, I live for adventure and travel. Whether it means dragging my husband around the globe to do miscellaneous shark dives or just jumping in a car for road trips in this beautiful country, traveling is where my heart is.
Oh ~ and those two surgeries I mentioned earlier ~ I had a prophylactic double mastectomy with reconstruction ~ I am BRCA 2 positive ~ the genetic mutation that makes me extremely susceptible to cancer. Think “Angelina Jolie”. When all this happened I realized I needed something that was ~ quite simply ~ fun.
I hope you enjoy the blog as much I as I enjoy curating it! And, as always, THANK YOU so much for your interest and support! I hope you’ll stay awhile!
