Every Spring 50+ acres burst into bloom in Carlsbad, California. Rows of popping pinks, sunny yellows, bright reds, and brilliant oranges line the meadows that follow the coastline of the Pacific ocean. It is a beautiful sight, and one that is limited.
Open from March 1st- May 8th, it only costs $14 per adult to walk amongst the lovely budding ranunculus, a tradition that is almost 100 years in the making. The best part? It’s right behind the Carlsbad outlets, which have some phenomenal stores such as Crate and Barrel, Coach, Kate Spade N.Y., Under Armor, etc, etc.
Its the perfect way to spend a weekend afternoon ~ walking through gorgeous colored flowers, lunch and a little shopping!
