Recently Matt and I decided to look into some new home security systems.  While we were in Japan I found out our dog sitter didn’t go to our house for over 24hrs.   We don’t live near any family so I had to call my contractor to break into the house.  Thankfully I was able to find an emergency dog sitter to come in, or else I was about to jump on the first flight home.  Something needed to change: in comes Blink Home Security.

Y’all! I had NO IDEA there was something like Blink out there! It’s fairly safe to say I’m obsessed!  The first trip away from home after setting up Blink Home Security I couldn’t stop checking in on the dogs.  Blink works off an app on your phone, so anytime you want you can check into your cameras and watch video in LIVE time AND with sound!!!!! It’s pretty amazing!

Blink Home Security offers affordable and functional home security products.  Blink for inside is only $99 each, while the weather proof outdoor ones are $129!  Their battery life lasts up to two years with two lithium double AA batteries included with cameras.  That’s double the battery life of its competitors.

This camera was so easy to set up that it took Matt under 20 minutes from opening packages to placing the cameras, to sitting down and watching the views on the app! You can check in whenever you want or you can set the cameras to send you notifications when the motion sensor goes off.  It will also take short video clips once the motion sensor is set off.  So if you have someone hanging around outside your home (or in) you will catch them on camera!  I even caught the UPS man dropping off a package!

These little cameras are BRILLIANT!!  Just look at all the images and videos I captured!  Blink Home Security System was the right choice for us and I’m so glad we have them watching over our home.
