It has been quite the busy few months for me, and I quickly realized I was running myself into the ground and needed a break. I needed a spa and I need an adorable New England town in Vermont.
Cue the Woodstock Inn Spa.
The Woodstock Inn Spa is a 10,000 square foot LEED certified facility teeming with natural light that is accentuated by floor to ceiling windows. They use locally sourced products {notice the glass lights – Simon Pearce} and they have 10 treatment rooms.
While they offer many treatments I opted for the “Restore + Recharge” massage and I about melted into the table. It was honestly heavenly.
Their safety measures were far more than I expected: your temp is checked as soon as you enter, you use hand sanitizer immediately, they limit the use of public spaces, and the showers and sauna are off limits until the pandemic is over. I felt perfectly safe and was completely relaxed.
The Woodstock Inn Spa is celebrating 10 years this month and to kick it off they will be doing a series of social media giveaways so make sure you check out their Instagram page @woodstockinnspa so you can enter to win – so worth it!
Check out the video of the spa below – and keep scrolling for my other recommendations while you stay at the charming Woodstock Inn.
There are a few hotels throughout Vermont that are iconic to the state of Vermont and The Woodstock Inn is one of them! Truly a gem, it is situated right in the middle of the Village of Woodstock, on the green, and is labeled Vermont’s Most Beautiful Address. The grounds are full of lush Vermont fauna that changes with the season, and the front lawn is even adorned with a white picket fence.
While it is easy to stay at the Inn, The village of Woodstock and surrounding area are too beautiful not to experience.
Here are some sights I recommend:
Billings Farm – this is a MUST SEE and plan on spending a whole morning or afternoon here!
Jenne Farm
Sleepy Hollow Farm
Walk through the village and shop in the local shops
Quechee Gorge
The Woodstock Farm Stand
Kelly Way Gardens {owned by the Inn and such a treat to visit}
Here are some restaurants I recommend:
The Red Rooster {at the Inn}
Richardson’s Tavern {at the Inn} you MUST order the cheese fondue!
Mangalitsa – A true New England Farm To Table experience
Mon Vert Cafe – great coffee/breakfast stop
