What’s In My Bag
The lodge was completed in 2005 by a former Olympian and a developer, with the aim to create one of the most beautiful properties in the Adirondacks. As you walk through Whiteface you’ll see stunning presentations of wood beams and timbers that add to the ambiance of this majestic mountain lodge. All the wood beams were actually cut and milled on site during the build. The beams are accentuated by bark features to give you a true woodland feeling. Lush sofas, and decadent armchairs adorned with Tiffany’s lamps surround cast iron fireplaces and a Christmas tree fills every corner filling the air with the sweetest scents of pine, making Whiteface a truly enchanting winter experience.
Whiteface Lodge is very much reminiscent to the Vanderbilt era and creates impressive ways to escape the everyday world and relish in your vacation. Be sure to check out the video showing how perfectly they decorate this lodge for Christmas. What are your favorite places to visit for the holidays?
