The infamous New Hampshire train trestle. I had seen a couple photographers post some spectacular fall foliage shots at this trestle and the hunt was on. On social media it seemed to be very secretive, so I took to google maps and poured over the satellite imagery for hours. It wasn’t until I was talking to other North Eastern photographers about it and they were gracious enough to help. But surprisingly, this secret trestle wasn’t a secret in the New England Photography Community, and all I needed to do was ask! However, due to people getting chased off the tracks, I won’t be the one to disclose this location for safety reasons.
But, if you hit this trestle at the just the right time during peak foliage the mountainside in the back is on fire with color while you have a beautiful carpet of Autumnal colors scattered across the ground. This is one of my favorite images from the Fall season of 2019!
